Privacy policy

Moonberg is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains what we collect, the choices you have, and your rights.

Updated 23 Jun 2026

The short version. By default we run only a privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor count — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no selling of data. Anything beyond that loads only if you accept it on the consent banner, and you can decline with no loss of functionality.

What we collect by default

For every visitor we use a cookieless analytics baseline (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that records aggregate, non-identifying signals — page views, referrer, approximate country, device type. It sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you or follow you across sites.

What loads only with your consent

If — and only if — you accept on the consent banner, we may additionally load analytics and marketing tags (for example advertising pixels) that set cookies and let us measure campaigns and build audiences. If you decline, none of these load and only the cookieless baseline runs. You can change your choice at any time (see the cookie policy). Crawlers and bots never consent, so they only ever receive the clean baseline.

If you subscribe

If we later offer optional alerts (for example an IPO or valuation-change watch), we will collect your email only when you ask for it and use it only to send what you signed up for; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Lawful basis

The cookieless baseline relies on our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate traffic. Consent-gated analytics and marketing rely on your consent. Email alerts rely on your consent. We do not use your data for automated decisions that affect you.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is processed by the service providers that run the site and the consent-gated tags you opt into (our hosting and analytics provider, and — if you consent — the advertising platforms named in the cookie policy). We share data with them only to provide those functions.

Retention

Aggregate analytics are retained only in summarized form. Consent choices are stored on your device.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the baseline is non-identifying, we hold no data tied to you — there is usually nothing to access or delete. Consent choices live only on your device and you can clear them at any time (see the cookie policy). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will update this page as the site evolves (including when the consent-gated tags described above are switched on) and revise the date above.
